Note: There are at least two James Scholes at Stakehill possibly having children.
James(1) and Judith Crossley married 1707, and James(2) and Elizabeth Collinge married 1720.  Judith dies at Stakehill in 1733.  A Mary Scholes a wife of James dies in 1717 at Stakehill.  This Mary is possibly the first wife of James(2) who married in 1720.

Of the children born at Stakehill it is likely that: Anne b1708 d1708, George b1709 d1709, Mary b1710 d1759, Anne b1713 d1792, George b1715 d1797 and Robert b1717 are those of James(1) and Judith who were married in 1707.

Elizabeth b1721 d1788 and James b1725 d1740 are likely those of James(2) and Elizabeth who were married in 1720.

This James is James(1) the father of George.

There is a burial of James Scholes of Stakehill. Is this for James(1) or James(2)?
