John Senior and Yeoman, Carpenter of Little Crakehall who died in 1724 was probably married to a Jane who was a widow in 1730 when her son William died in 1713.
An Elizabeth Whitton died in 1743 and was described as wife of John Whitton, Elder, Yeoman of Littel Crakehall
John Whitton the husband of Esther Seaveary died in 1773 and Esther then died in 1780.
There were at least three John Whitton families in 1761 as listed in the manor court roll and only one family in 1673, 1732, 1733, 1761 and 1773.
