Others say the father of Richard is given as James 1674-1712 (died Manchester) whose wife was Ellen Walker apparently born 1678 with James having been baptised St Mary Blackburn 21st March 1674/5 son of Thomas 1640 -1686 and Janie Coulters b 1644 who married 11th Nov 1672.

3. Ann LIVESAY

Ann was born 12th Oct 1746 and baptised 22nd Oct 1746 at St John Preston. She died 2nd Jan 1816 and was buried on 6th Jan, at Green End Sawley.  This is the address of the Friends Meeting House Sawley where there are burials are in the rear garden.

Ann Livesay has no apparent sign of Quakers in her background as she is not born a Quaker or to Quaker parents or grandparents etc. However she seemingly was one when she married in 17th May 1775
