There are at least three Elizabeth Withers baptised in Romsey around 1770, one to Joshua on 27 March 1764, one to Peter and Sarah on 30 October 1770 and one the Richard and Catherine on 9 October 1769. The most likely one is the one christened in Romsey on 9 October 1769 to Richard Withers and Catherine. The father's name, Richard, does not flow through to her children although the name Catherine does. There are no Joshuas, Peters or Sarahs in Elizabeth's childrens names.
