Listed as father in the baptisms of several children in the Muker church records. He usually is recorded as "Tho" or "Thos".
Thomas Hunt is a common name in Yorkshire and it is not credible to assume any particular baptism without further evidence. There are records of Thomas Hunts having children around 1720-1740 in at least Muker, Grinton, Kirkby Malzeard, Hatfield, Ingleby Greenhow, Light Cliffe, Kirkby Wise.
There are a number of children both to a Thomas in the Muker area and the father Thomas' location is mentioned in most cases.

20 May 1738 - Timothy Muker Chapel - father residence - Barf End
8 Apr 1741 - Sarah Muker Chapel - father residence - Barf EndIt is likely that the Barf End Thomas is a different Thomas to the Blades Thomas and the Blades Thomas is the husband of Easter and that Mary born 1722/3 is their first child. The suggested reasons for this are:
* Mary was borh about 12 moths after the marriage and her location of birth was the same as the marriage (Grinton)
* Elizabeth was born before the marriage of Thomas and Easter - so likely to be in a different family.
* The name Easter for a child is consistent with a mother of Easter and Easter was born in Blades
* The Mary born 1735 is probably too young to be the wife of William Woodward and so the first Mary b 1722/3 probably is the wife of William Woodward and there would not have been a second Mary in the same family as the young one is still living. The two families are then likely to be:

Marriage Date 27 Nov 1752
Marriage Place Grinton,York,England
Spouse William Woodward of Parish Grinton
FHL Film Number 0897351 IT 1, 468808, 468809Death: Muker chapel church records, Muker, Yorkshire. "Mary Woodward, age 80, wife of William Woodward, yeoman, of Lodge Green, died 6th June 1805, buried in Muker Chapel Yard. (therefore born about 1725)"
One of the children of William Woodward and Mary Hunt was named Thomas. If this baptism in 1722/1723 is the correct baptism for Mary Hunt (the mother of Thomas Woodward) it would seem that Thomas Woodward may have been named after the above Thomas Hunt.
Mary Woodward of Gunnerside, the wife of William Woodward, was born at Blades in abt 1725 as Mary Hunt. She was buried at Muker on 6 Jun 1805 age 80. She was mother of 7 children who married into several well known Swaledale families, Cleminsons, Watters, Harkers, Spensleys and Brodericks many of these families when to America when the lead mining declined. This family of Woodwards were involved with "Spensley House" in Gunnerside.
