AT NANTWICH
The funeral took place on Friday of Mr. William Milner aged 8O, Porch House, Welsh Row, Nantwich, where he and his wife had been living for about two years with Mr and Mrs Longbottom. He was a retired schoolmaster from Liverpool.
Before the cortege left Porch House for Anfield Crematorium a service was conducted by the Rector (the Rev Tyler Whittle). Mrs Milner was unable to attend, owing to indisposition.
The mourners were Mr. and Mrs Longbottom, Nantwitch. Mr Duff, Liverpool (cousins), Mr C. Wynne. Mr C Edwards, Captain Cornish, Miss de Courcy, Mr and Mrs Boothe, Mr. E Evans, Mr M Cumberledge all of Liverpool and Nurse Ray, Nantwich.
