News was received yesterday of the death, under tragic circumstances,of William Tate, son of Mrs. S. Tait, of Prospect Street, Mackay. From the meagre particulars to hand it appears on Tuesday deceased died from thirst on Tuesday away out on the Queensland border beyond Cloncurrv, and near Herbert Downs. The deceased was a young man about 27 years of age, and was well-known in Mackay, where his relations reside.
