Alexander 39 a farmer, Mrs Elizabeth 35, John 14, Helen E 11, Andrew 9.  She is living as a servant with this family in the 1851 census at 50 High St, Greenock, Renfrewshire.  Alexander Dixon was born in Lanarkshire in about 1813.  Possibly an Uncle?

McColl). Witnesses: Dugald Mclean, Mary Ann I Gurrer?.

1891 Census (27 April 1891) of Ontario gives his age as 36 (born abt 1855) and Sarah's age as 34.

1900 Census of Great Fall Montana gives his birth as Feb 1857 (aged 43) and born Scotland.  He arrived in USA in 1880.

DEATHS AND FUNERALS
Dickson-James Dickson, aged 65 years, residing at 2909 Second avenue north died at the home yesterday morning. The body will be forwarded from the W. G. George company's chapel this afternoon to Craig for burial. The Rev Daniel Bryant of the First Baptist church will accompany the
body to Craig and officiate at the service which will be held at 4 this afternoon. Mr. Dickson was a member of the Bricklayers union and members of that organization will act as an escort from the chapel to the depot. It is the request of the family that no flowers he sent.
