In the census of 1891 Nellie shows up as being with her grandmother on Manchester Road Bury. Ellen was not getting any younger and was also not most likely be able to cope with a young child either so Nellie seems to end up with her Aunt Bessie Trimble in Walton le Dale /Bamber Bridge who was in a much better position as she had married well seemed comfortably off and had young children of her own where Nellie was not out of place. Nellie seemed to have fitted in well and appears in the local press as attending parties, fetes, garden parties social gatherings and the like and she could play the piano.

Trimble were an Irish family so it may well be that this was for the benefit of their relatives rather than for that of Orr. There was a notice in the Morning Post London in Feb 1907 and in the Burnley Press a month later in March. The wedding was described as fashionable and George Beneke was described as Captain. The marriage was at St Georges Hanover Square a church traditionally for the upper classes. The writer has to wonder now why she was married there as opposed to where she had lived in Preston area. An address for George is mentioned of 103 Park Street off Grosvenor Square.

Source: LDS Film 93992A son of Nellie and John was baptised St John's Preston On 24th Jan 1908 a press notice stated that the child was to be named Ernst George John and his sponsor was the Duke of Cumberland. The coupe was living in Hutton Langton. Sponsor was a term equating to Godparent.
Ernst visited his royal relatives in London and married Thyra the sister of Queen Alexandra wife of Edward v11. A son of Ernst married the daughter of Kaiser Wilhelm. Ernst was stripped of his UK titles as a result of WW1 however there is a descendent who could bear the titles but has chosen not to.
